Thursday Evenings | 7:00 pm

Led by Georgie Waldrop. We will be looking at “equipping disciples who make disciples,” doing as Jesus did.  He made disciples who went out and made disciples, who then go out and make disciples!  We will discuss the necessary components of disciple-making so that every church member can play a part in reaching others for Christ.  We will take a look at what a disciple is, how disciples grow, and how to be an intentional leader!  This is what Jesus commanded us to do! This will be a 12 week study on "Real-life Discipleship Training Manual" by Jim Putnam, Avery Willis Jr, Brandon Guindon, and Bill Krause. We will meet at the COTH Independence Campus. Books are purchasable online or at Mardel. This group will begin on October 6th, 2022.

Wednesday Evenings | 7:00 pm

Led by Pastor Kenny Vochatzer. Next Level Leader is a class designed to help you learn to lead well, taking the principles from the Bible. For the next 10 weeks, we will develop the life-giving leader that is in each and every one of us. The heart of a leader must be developed to become the Next Level Leader God has called you to be.

2nd & 4th Fridays | 11:30 am

Led by Lorrie Hopper.  This group will consist of women who are 40+ and are retired, empty nesters or near-empty nesters (with teens).  The desire is for women to grow in Jesus and to make long-lasting relationships, as well as be able to “be who we are” safely while growing in God’s nurturing grace.  We will gather for lunch and fellowship at 11:30 on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month (location varies).  We will also be adding craft days (TBD).  I hope you will come and be a part!

Tuesdays Evenings | 7:00 pm

Led by Brenna Novak. This group will be going over the book: Your Scars are Beautiful to God by Sharon Jaynes. Physical scars represent a story, a moment in one’s life, and they show others that there is a history and healing. Your internal scars-invisible marks from heartbreak, mistakes, and losses-also represent stories of healing and restoration. In this book, we will 1) recognize Jesus through your scars, 2) remove the mask and be real, and 3) release the power of healed wounds. This is a 13-week study that will include a couple of breaks TBD.
