Led by Pastor Mike Hernandez. This Harvest Group is about giving men a place to have intentional conversations about manhood - becoming a man of God, becoming a better husband, becoming a better father, etc. We will meet every Monday morning at 7:00 am at the Black Bear Diner (11981 S Strang Line Rd, Olathe).Proverbs 27:17 states “as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend”. Let’s start the work week by sharpening each other!
Led by Tim McKay. Jesus walked and lived with a small group of men that He did life with. An inner circle of trusted men that would later die for the cause. Harvest Warriors goal is to recover, heal, and strengthen hearts so that men are battle-ready and up for the challenges ahead. We will be reading books that strengthen men. We are reading Kingdom Man by Tony Evans. Men ages 30-80. Meeting at the COTH Olathe Campus.
Led by John Selman. Band of Brothers promotes camaraderie and fellowship among military veterans (police, Fire, and EMS too) as we pursue a growing relationship with Jesus. The 1-hour sessions will focus on prayer and Bible Study. Topics are not pre-established and will be determined by the group. Men ages 18-99. Meeting at the COTH Olathe Campus.
Led by Shawn Barber. This group is for men who want to grow into the man God has called him to be. We will go through a 9 book series by Ed Louis Cole. We are intentional about becoming a Mighty Man of God. Meeting at the COTH Olathe Campus.
Led by Carl and Terrance Waldenmaier. A community where men can share with men and God is glorified. We participate as a small church, worshipping, serving, caring, and discipling others. Meeting at the Hyvee Market Grill at 151st Street and Black Bob.
Led by Marlon Moore. Men getting together to talk about issues they harbor such as: abandonment, addictions, family life, etc. in order to form relationships and accountability with one another outside of church. Allowing men to be men. Age range: 18 - 50. Meeting at leader's Lenexa home. Contact leader for address.
Led by Brett Kuper. This group is for men who want to connect with and be challenged by other men. This session we will be going through the book Killing Kryptonite by John Bevere. Just like Superman, who can leap over any hurdle and defeat every foe, followers of Christ have the supernatural ability to conquer the challenges we face. But the problem with Superman and us is there's a kryptonite that steals our strength. If you want to build relationships with other men and be challenged to grow in the Lord, then this is the group for you. Meeting at Panera Bread in Olathe off 154th Street.
Led by Craig Mueller and Steve Dykstra. This is a men's group who will meet for 9 holes of golf or hitting the ball at a driving range. The goal is recreation, fun, and fellowship. Group is open to Men over 18. Meeting Late March thru Late September.
